Odessa Nightlife

During the summer months Odessa becomes a party city. The Odessa nightlife is diverse and there is something for everyone. From the trendy clubs in Arcadia to the more classy clubs and casinos in the city centre. Odessa nightclubs welcome everybody.

Odessa Casinos

There are a number of casinos in downtown Odessa. Just follow the neon lights and you will find them. Here you can play black jack, roulette and poker. Good luck!

Odessa Erotic Dance

There are several places that offer erotic dance shows in Odessa. Many ordinary nightclubs have erotic dance shows during club nights or they have a separate department devoted for this.

You could find more traditional clubs with lap dance and such. We heard there is one on Ekaterininskaya street.

Arcadia Police

Be aware that there is a chance that the local police will stop you and ask to see your passport (simply because you are a tourist). If you don't have it on you, some policemen will take advantage of that and demand that you must pay a fee. This is corruption of course and we have no good advice to give in that situation.

Crime

You must take procotion as you would in any foreign country, when visiting the nightlife district of Arcadia (or in the centre of Odessa).

Don't show of your money when you are in a club. Don't drink yourself wasted and walk out of there alone. Follow these simple rules and you'll be fine.

Odessa Nightclubs

Odessa nightclubs are hot, Odessa nightclubs are sexy and Odessa nightclubs crowded with party people. During summer almost all partying and clubbing is going on at the Arcadia beach where all the big open air nightclubs are situated. We have listed the two most popular and by far the best nightclubs in Arcadia, Odessa. This is Ibiza and Itaka. These clubs are closed during winter.

Odessa nightclubs are filled with young and attractive people. You will notice the amount of beautiful women there is to see, when you go out to dance at a club.

In the city center of Odessa there are a number of nightclubs, and we have listed three of the most popular clubs. More nightclubs will be added soon.

Summer club

Ibiza is one of the best Odessa nightclubs. It is designed as a gigantic ant hill with white walls, blue slabs, pink doors, high lit tables, neon bars. The staff are professional and friendly. The club resembles a maze full of flat-screens, lighting and sound plants. People are having fun everywhere, both upstairs and downstairs and you can have a view of the sea through wall openings in the club. This miracle of a nightclub is located right on the Black Sea coast in the open air. It is an extraordinary beautiful club and you might say that it has a touch of pathos about it.

As of all the nightclubs in Arcadia, Ibiza is only open during the summe season. During the summer weekends they usually host a show, a concert or a top international DJ.

Summer club

Itaka is an impressing outdoor nightclub and disco which often hosts concerts and shows as well. Every night during the summer months Itaka is crowded with young and old that enjoys to dance and meet others. Sometimes the dancing is interrupted by a show on stage. It can last for 10 or 15 minutes and after that the dancefloor fills fast with young ladies and the men follow.

Odessa nightlife wouldn't be the same without this institution among Odessa nightclubs.The club itself is a massive ancient Greek forum with stairs in the center and tables clustered about the surrounding areas. At Itaka you will be able to party untill you see the sun rise from the ocean.

The nightclub "!Yo" is a popular club in the centre of Odessa. Among the clientel you will find young and beautiful people enjoying socializing and dancing. There are several music zones in the club:

The Main Dance Floor lives by rules of house and techno.
The 1st floor is fulfilled with 14kW of progressive sound.
The Disco Bar is where nostalgia and the euphoria of the eighties lives. One can listen to soviet hits and cool European pop spiced by Brazilian lambada and makarena rhythms.
The Cocktail Hall makes you escape from inferno of the main dance floor with some easy listening, jazz and ambient music.
In the Whisky Bar you can have an easy chat as the music background is clam and soft.

There is also a restaurant in this complex called Fourth Floor. You will find it. Thursdays usually have a R'nB special. During winter !Yo is without a doubt one of the best Odessa nightclubs.

Vis-a-Vis (or Visavis) is a quite new club/restaurant/lounge/casino and it is located in the heart of Odessa, right on the popular Deribasovskaya street. This elegant and stylish Odessa nightclub caters to a classy and beautiful clientel.

Most patrons here tend to be on the older side, but occasional weekend parties bring in crowds of young people as well. Make sure to look your best as the door staff may stop you if you're not properly dressed. The music is funky jazz mixed with some house music.

Music Club Praetoria is a plush little nightclub in the center of Odessa, that attracts a mixed age range with its American, European, Russian/Ukrainian music from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
