Ukrainian cuisine has a rich history and offers a wide variety of dishes. The cuisine of modern Ukraine is based on traditional Ukrainian recipes, with influences from its neighbours like Russia, Turkey and Poland.

Pork, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, berries, mushrooms and herbs play a major part in Ukrainian cooking.

Beware that the service is not always the same as you would expect from a restaurant in the EU or USA, but it is gradually getting better. You might experience sometimes that the service can be a bit slow.

You should know that things we take for granted as a complimentary, like bread and butter can be listed on your bill.

There is a 5-10 % charge at the end of your bill and this is a service charge. You are free to tip in addition to this if you are really satisfied.
